What Funders Want to See

Whether you are approaching a bank, an alternative lender, or private investors, the core information required is broadly similar. Having it ready before you start conversations, rather than assembling it under pressure once a deal is agreed, speeds everything up.

  • A business plan explaining the deal rationale, the target and your plans for it
  • Historic and forecast financials for the target, including sensitivities
  • Details of available security, both business assets and personal where relevant
  • Your own personal financial statement and evidence of available equity
  • Details of your relevant experience and, where used, any management team
